Gokyo Renjo La Pass Trek

Situated in the Solukhumbu district of Nepal within Sagarmatha National Park, the Gokyo Renjo La Pass Trek involves crossing the high pass known as Renjo La. The region is a melting pot of ethnic diversity, home to Sherpa, Rai, Gurung, and other communities living harmoniously, exuding friendly and helpful vibes.

Along these routes, the locals have established cozy tea houses and lodges, providing comfortable and hygienic hospitality with warm smiles. Renjo La Pass, the highest point on the trek, offers an awe-inspiring panorama of the Everest range and a stunning view of Gokyo lakes against a backdrop of snowy peaks.

Gokyo and Renjo La Pass Trek, now a preferred alternative to Everest Base Camp Trek, showcase majestic views of Mt Everest, Lhotse, Makalu, Cho Oyu, Aba Dablam, and other snow-capped peaks, along with glimpses of endangered animals like red pandas and snow leopards.

Commencing with a flight to Lukla, the trek progresses through Phakding, Namche Bazaar, Dole, and Machhermo. A day’s rest at Machhermo precedes the trek to Gokyo village, Fifth Lake, and an acclimatization day with a sunrise view from Gokyo Ri.

The journey continues with the crossing of Renjo La Pass, leading to Lungden, followed by descent to Thame for a monastery visit. Returning through Namche, the trek concludes in Lukla.
