Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu (1400m/4593ft)
Upon your arrival at Tribhuwan International Airport, our Altitude Adventures representative will warmly welcome you. Look out for a board with your name, as they will assist you with the check-in process. After settling in at your hotel, take the opportunity to explore the vibrant night streets of Thamel.

Day 2: Trek Preparation and 3 Temple Tour (1400m/4593ft)
Today marks a free day before the challenging journey to Kanchenjunga North Base Camp. At 8 am, our team will collect your original passports and photos for permit preparation. Embark on a cultural exploration with a tour guide, visiting the sacred sites of Pashupatinath, Swayambhunath (Monkey Temple), and Boudhanath Stupa. The tour lasts 4-5 hours. Meet our team at 5 pm to receive your permits and meet your trekking guide. If you require trekking equipment, your guide can assist.

Day 3: Flight to Bhadrapur, then Drive to Taplejung (1820m/5971ft, 8-9 hrs drive)
An early flight takes you to Bhadrapur from Kathmandu. Drive through scenic locales like Birtamod, Illam, and Jorpokhari to reach Taplejung (1820m/5971ft). Cross the Kabeli Khola Bridge, passing through picturesque landscapes.

Day 4: Taplejung to Sekathum (1650m/5413ft, 39km/24.23 miles, 5 – 6 hrs drive)
Embark on a 5-6 hour drive from Taplejung to Sekathum (1650m/5413ft). Check permits at the Kanchenjunga Conservation Area post and pass through various settlements. Traverse Tamor Nadi, crossing bridges, to reach Sekathum.

Day 5: Trek from Sekathum to Amjilosa (2498m/8195ft, 9km/5.59 miles, 5 – 6 hrs trek)
Commence the trek to Kanchenjunga North Base Camp. Navigate suspension bridges, Rhododendron forests, and little settlements. Reach Amjilosa in approximately 5-6 hours.

Day 6: Trek from Amjilosa to Gyabla (2725m/8940ft, 7km/4.66 miles, 4 – 5 hrs trek)

Day 10: Khambachen to Lhonak (4792m/15721ft, 10 km/6.21 miles, 4 – 5 hrs trek)
Follow the Ghunsa Khola bank, reaching Ramdang with spectacular vistas. Walk alongside Kanchanjunga Glacier to Lhonak.
